Why Stainless Steel?

Stainless Steel is the common name for an extensive range of alloy steels that include at least 10.5% chromium as part of their composition. Using Stainless steel brings many benefits, the most common being its great resistance to rust and corrosion, also there is no possibility of the paint being chipped as can happen with painted carbon steel reels. TYPE 304 STAINLESS STEEL

TYPE 316 STAINLESS STEEL

Used for harsh environments. There are many industrial applications requiring a superior level of resistance to corrosion than Type 304 can offer. For these applications, using type 316 is the solution. Type 316 is an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless and heat-resisting steel with superior corrosion resistance if you compare to other chromium-nickel steels when exposed to the many types of corrosive elements like sea water, brine solutions, and the like. Type 316 is the main stainless steel used in the marine environment.

As it is an environmentally friendly material because it is 100% recyclable any new stainless steel normally contains around 50-80% recycled material. Stainless steel is unquestionably a valuable material which has numerous uses within a whole range of industries.
